For over 25 years, John Showman and Chris Coole have shared stages across North America and Europe, from MerleFest to RockyGrass, as members of The Lonesome Ace Stringband and The Foggy Hogtown Boys. Their music lives on the borderlands of old-time, bluegrass, and folk—where the songs of John Hartford and Hank Williams meet the fiddle tunes of Eck Robertson and Ed Haley. Together they’ve released Afieldand Much Further Out than Inevitable, and continue to craft music that’s both timeless and deeply personal.
