Simple Rules for a Successful Jam Session
Know the Difference between a “bluegrass” style jam, and an “old time” style jam.
Respect other musicians - resist the urge to “noodle” between tunes.
Jam sessions are not gab session — leave the circle if you need to visit.
Be ready to play a tune “before” it’s your turn.
Call out the chords and/or have chord charts for those who need them.
